My name's Ganna Sobolevs'ka, or simply Anya. I'm a graduate student at the University of Arizona in Educational Psychology. Leaving my native Dnipropetrovsk, I certainly had some expectations, ideas, and even dreams of what it would be like. However, it has turned to be a much grander life experience than I could have ever imagined!

Studying, living, having fun, traveling around — everything is so bright, dynamic, different. One can study a whole lifetime, but maybe learn less than during the time of being on a Fulbright grant. It is not only about classes and knowledge gaining — it is all about changing your life and turning it upside down!

First, it may seem difficult, unusual, unknown… However, as they put it here, “It's a challenge!” Challenge is what makes you move and grow. The people I keep meeting on the way offer help and support. A moment can change your attitude, opinion, and life in general. That is fantastic, amazing and incredible!

Too many words and exclamation marks? Yet, it is the only way to explain my feelings, while I am still adjusting to this new life! Thanks a million for giving me such a wonderful chance of seeing the world from another angle!
